HUGO Desk

The main HUGO Information Desk, located at the rear of the Strathblane Hall, will be staffed by Cathy Pole of HUGO's London Office and members of the Local Organising Committee. The HUGO Information Desk will act as an information and service point for the conference where participants can access information about HUGO and its activities and forthcoming meetings, membership as well as general information about HGM2001.

The EICC web site contains floor plans and other useful information for conference organisers, attendees, and exhibitors.

Food and Drink

Complimentary tea, coffee, and biscuits will be provided in the morning and afternoon in the Cromdale Hall. Light lunches and snacks will be available also in the Cromdale Hall. There are a number of restaurants within easy walking distance of the EICC.

Internet and Email Access

A cyber cafe will open from 08:00-17:00 daily. Appropriate use policies and procedures will be provided to delegates wishing to access or send email. The cyber cafe, sponsored by Nature Publishing is located in the Cromdale Hall on the lower ground floor.
